PR 1776 M B1/2 - SEMKIT
PR1776M Class B is a low density, high temperature, aircraft-integral, two-part fuel tank sealant. Designed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications, the cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas.

It is a manganese dioxide cured Permapol P-5 polysulfide compound. The uncured material is a low sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula.
It has a service temperature range of -54°C (-65°F) to 121°C (250°F) with intermittent excursions up to 182°C (360°F). It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant having excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
This product offers up to 20% weight savings per unit volume over traditional sealants used for its purposes. It will also resist limited contact to diphosphate ester based hydraulic fluids.
