LOCTITE® LB 8700 is a grey, smooth thread lubricant paste formulated from molybdenum disulphide and petrolatum. Can be used on machine threads, tapered pipe threads, and for press-fit and slip-fit joints. It is used in applications with an operating range of -29°C to 398°C (-20.2°F to 748.4°F). It has been tested to meet Military Specification MIL-PRF-83483.
