LOCTITE ABLESTIK 45 / CAT 15: Flexible Transparent Structural Kit
This unfilled, electrically non-conductive adhesive has an easy mix ratio and bonds well to a wide variety of substrates. By varying the amount of catalyst, you can adjust the hardness from flexible to rigid.
This kit combines the legendary LOCTITE® ABLESTIK 45 resin with the flexible Catalyst 15 to create a transparent, shock-resistant bond. It is the ideal solution for bonding dissimilar materials, such as glass to aluminum, where the adhesive must stretch to accommodate different rates of thermal expansion. The clear finish allows for easy visual verification of the bond, making it a favorite for aerospace instrumentation and optical mounting.
