LOCTITE® ABLESTIK 45 CLEAR (formerly known as ECCOBOND 45) is a versatile, transparent, two-part epoxy adhesive designed for structural bonding applications where clarity and adjustable mechanical properties are required. This "legacy" aerospace adhesive is famous for its variable mix ratio, which allows engineers to customize the final bond from a rigid, high-strength state to a flexible, shock-resistant state. It provides excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, including metals, glass, ceramics, and most plastics, maintaining its bond integrity even under thermal cycling.

Application:

Conditions Info
- Curing Schedule:
- Standard: 16 to 24 hours at 25°C.
- Accelerated: 2 hours at 65°C.
- Post-Cure: For maximum chemical resistance, a post-cure of 1 hour at 100°C is recommended.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place between 18°C and 25°C. Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption.
